The race begins in Prospect Park\, Brooklyn\, passing by Grand Army Plaza\, the United Nations\, Grand Central Terminal\, and Times Square\, before finishing near the iconic TCS New York City Marathon finish line in Central Park. \nNote: Starting in 2022\, the New York City Road Runners require all runners to pay a portion of their own entry fee (around $130). However\, you’ll still have a guaranteed spot\, and the Parkinson’s Foundation will cover the bib fee (around $250).
