Whether you’re an experienced marathoner or a first-time participant\, this event promises an unforgettable experience for runners of all levels. \nThe Charity Half Marathon is a special event within the Los Angeles Marathon\, where all participants are running to give back. It combines the intimate atmosphere of a nonprofit community with the high-energy support of one of the largest marathons in the U.S. \nThe Big 5 Sporting Goods LA 5K is a family-friendly race\, open to participants of all ages and abilities\, including runners\, walkers\, and strollers. Run through the beautiful Elysian Park and finish with a stunning view of Dodger Stadium. All participants will receive a race shirt\, finisher’s medal\, post-race refreshments\, and an unforgettable experience. \nNote: The 5K takes place on March 15th\, while the Marathon and Half Marathon are on March 16th.

By signing up to run as a Parkinson’s Champion\, you commit to raising funds and awareness for the Foundation\, and in return\, you’ll receive a free race entry (bib) along with many exciting benefits and perks. \nFundraising Commitments: \n\nVIP: $5\,000\nHalf Marathon: $2\,000\nHonorary Champion: $500\n\nThe NYC Half Marathon offers a unique experience\, taking you through New York City’s historic landmarks\, popular parks\, scenic views from the Manhattan Bridge\, and diverse neighborhoods. The race begins in Prospect Park\, Brooklyn\, passing by Grand Army Plaza\, the United Nations\, Grand Central Terminal\, and Times Square\, before finishing near the iconic TCS New York City Marathon finish line in Central Park. \nNote: Starting in 2022\, the New York City Road Runners require all runners to pay a portion of their own entry fee (around $130). However\, you’ll still have a guaranteed spot\, and the Parkinson’s Foundation will cover the bib fee (around $250).
